The Role of Community Requests in FC 25: Has EA Really Listened to the Fans?

As the release of FC 25 approaches, EA Sports unveils exciting new features and updates, claiming to have listened to fan feedback. This blog explores whether EA has truly addressed community requests, highlighting key changes such as storage for untradeable duplicates, the removal of contracts, a new Rivals points system, and the return of relegation in Division Rivals. Discover how these updates might enhance the gaming experience and what fans are still waiting for.

As we get closer to the release time of FC 25, EA Sports shares sneak peeks and information about the new yet-to-be-released version of the franchise. Some of the changes were inevitable; AI has quite taken over the world, so it was predictable that AI would be a major part of EA FC 25 and it will be enhanced in the upcoming years as well with the release of each new version. But the question is, has EA made any changes regarding fan requests?

EA Sports answers yes to this question. Along with all the new exciting innovations and changes that are to be included in EA FC 25, EA has listened to what fans have to say about the game and what makes it a more satisfying gaming experience for the players. Here is a list of updates by EA based on community feedback and requests:

  1. Storage for Untradeable Duplicates
EA FC 25 will introduce a feature that allows players to store untradeable duplicate cards. This means that if players receive duplicate cards that cannot be traded, they can now store them in a designated space rather than having to discard them.
  2. No More Contracts
The game will remove the need for contracts in Ultimate Team mode. Previously, players had to use contracts to extend the playtime of their cards. With this update, cards can be used indefinitely without the need to apply contracts.
  3. New Rivals Points System
A new points system will be implemented for Rivals matches. The new system is set to provide a fairer and more balanced way of earning points, making sure that progress is based on skill and performance rather than solely on match results. This could help with a better competitive experience.
  4. Return of Relegation in Division Rivals
Relegation will be reintroduced in Division Rivals. This means players can now be demoted to lower divisions based on their performance.

These updates can make the gameplay way better than before. However, there are still some things players have asked for that have yet to be updated, such as enhanced career mode and modifying the infrastructure, for example, EA servers. Over the past years, we’ve had a few times where EA servers have been completely down. EA Sports has promised that FC 25 is the best version of the game to date, so our expectations are high. For now, we have to wait and see what they will come up with. Until then, stay tuned for updates from official sources; we cover everything as well.
