How to Set Up EA SPORTS FC™ Playtime to Track Your Hours and Matches
- Why You Should Enable Playtime
- EA uses Playtime data (time spent + matches played) to decide if you get access to the Transfer Market on the Web App and Companion App.
- To unlock the market, you need to show active play: playing matches and logging into the apps.
- Playtime also helps you keep track of your gaming journey.
You can enable Playtime on your console/PC or Web App/Companion App, the process and the result is similar but slightly different.
How to Turn On Playtime
On Console or PC
- Step 1: Open EA SPORTS FC.
- Step 2: Go to Settings → Online Settings → Privacy Settings.
- Step 3: Turn on “Share Playtime Usage Data.”
- Alternative: In Ultimate Team: go to Club → Settings → Playtime and enable it.
On Web App or Companion App
- Step 1: Log in to the EA SPORTS FC Web App or Companion App.
- Step 2: Go to Settings → Playtime.
- Step 3: Toggle Enable Playtime on.
- Step 4: Restart the app if it doesn’t update.
How to Check Your Playtime Stats
- On Console or PC:
- You’ll see your playtime inside the game.
- On the Web or Companion App:
- You can see:
- Total Time Spent
- Matches Played
- Weekly Limits (if you want to set them)
- Why It Matters
- If Playtime isn’t turned on, EA won’t count your activity.
- That means delays or blocks when trying to access the Transfer Market.
- Enabling it makes sure your progress is tracked correctly.
