Access isn’t automatically granted to all accounts, especially at the start of each new game cycle. Why Is the Transfer Market Locked?
When you open the Companion App or Web App and go to the transfers section, you may see a message such as:
“Your account does not have access to the Transfer Market on the Web App yet.”
This can happen for several reasons:
- New or Inactive Accounts:Fresh Ultimate Team accounts or those with low activity won’t have instant access. New accounts must complete the Foundation Objective Group “On Your Way” before full Transfer Market access is unlocked. For PC players, full access will be available 48 hours after completing the objective; for console players, this will be within 24 hours. During this waiting period, you can list items but cannot search, bid, or buy until the waiting period is over.
- Multiple Accounts on One Device: If your console or PC has been used to access several Ultimate Team accounts, access may take longer for each one.
- Security Flags or Terms Violations: Suspicious activity, incomplete verification, or terms violations can result in temporary or permanent restrictions. If you buy coins, it’s safer to stick with one trusted shop. Different sellers may use different transfer methods, and mixing them can increase the risk of EA flagging your account.
What to Do If the FUT Transfer Market Is Still Locked
